16-03-23 Shredders Sign Up

Sign up for the Shredders Junior Development Program ride day on 16th March. This session will involve shuttle runs in the park on Thursday from 4:30pm - 6:30pm provided by Chris from Red Hill Trail Co. (thanks Chris!) for junior club members only (18 and under). Please arrive at 4:15pm so the first shuttle can leave at 4:30pm. If you miss the first shuttle you can jump on the next one no worries. The program is free and focuses on gravity skills and race development.

For this session, riders must be keen on honing their Downhill/Gravity Enduro ability and be able to make their way down all the trails the park has to offer. 

Riders will be picked up from the bottom of the hill in the gravel carpark on Boundary Road and dropped at the top of the hill at the water tanks on Arthurs Seat Road. They will then all make their way down the same track back to the bottom to be picked up and do it all again. A sweep rider will ensure all riders make it back to the pick up spot. The shuttle won't leave until all riders have returned.

This session will be limited to 12 riders however, we're working on opening more spots in future sessions.

*Note:
- It is recommended that riders wear a full-faced helmet, knee pads, gloves and have their elbows covered.
- In the event of extreme weather (wind, rain, heat over 33 degrees) we will evaluate on the day and notify participants if the ride is cancelled. 
- Each rider is responsible for their own bike. Helpers will do their best to look after bikes on the shuttle trailer but please check it yourself and raise any concerns with helpers on the day.
